Here is everything you need to know about how your new fence or deck is protected.
Q: What does the ABBEY warranty cover?
A: We guarantee that all of our work is performed to professional industry standards. ABBEY warrants that your fence or deck will be free from defects in workmanship and labor for as long as the original purchaser owns the property.
Please note that our workmanship warranty is strictly tied to our own installation—if any third-party company or individual tampers with, alters, or adjusts the fence or deck structure after we complete it, the Abbey warranty is voided.
Q: Are gates covered under the same lifetime warranty?
A: Because gates experience daily wear, tear, and movement, they carry a dedicated two (2) year warranty on workmanship and labor from the date of installation completion. In addition, customers receive a FREE two (2) year gate adjustment period, including complimentary gate maintenance and adjustments as needed to ensure proper operation during the warranty period.
Q: Is there a requirement to activate my warranty?
A: Yes. The warranty is fully active and valid provided that the OWNER has paid ABBEY in full for all services rendered under the original agreement.
Q: Does the warranty cover natural weathering of wood?
A: No. Wood is a natural product. When exposed to sun, rain, and humidity, it is naturally subject to:

Cracking and splitting

Checking

Warping and bowing
Because these are natural characteristics of outdoor lumber, ABBEY does not warrant against these weather-induced changes.

Q: What is excluded from the warranty?
A: Our warranty strictly covers our workmanship and labor. It does not cover:

Third-party equipment that is already warranted by its manufacturer.

Damage caused by negligence, abuse, or misuse by parties other than ABBEY.

Damage caused by acts of God or severe weather, including fires, floods, high winds, strikes, war, or civil unrest.

The effectiveness of any fence to contain or restrict animals.

Q: What happens if I find an issue with my installation?
A: If you notice a defect in our workmanship, please send a written notice to ABBEY. Once received, our team will correct the nonconformities within a commercially reasonable period. This correction constitutes the fulfillment of our warranty obligations.

Q: Will ABBEY cover secondary damages if something breaks?
A: No. Under no circumstances is ABBEY liable for special or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damage or loss of other property/equipment, loss of profits, diminution of property value, or loss of use and habitability.
